There is not a better cast net made and we
guarantee it or your money back in 10 days.
Our cast nets are made in south Florida by Cesar Sevilla with 10
years in the business. They are 6 panels machine sewn together (not hand
tied like imports) which makes our joints stronger and more uniform for
better durability and maximum opening when thrown. A "big name"
company's story touts the fact that the panels on their
nets are hand tied (heck, every net in Wal Mart is hand tied; as in
cheap labor). We use only
commercial grade double knotted monofilament netting. The "big name"
companies that are importing their nets are winding up with lower
quality netting. Look closely and examine the workmanship and feel
the quality and suppleness of the netting and decide for yourself. There
is high quality
netting available and we spend the extra money to buy it and we also sew it together ourselves.
We have a unique double lead line made from two 3/16" braided nylon
lines that are machine sewn together, giving it more strength and also
providing streamlining for faster sinking. The netting is sewn in
between the double lead line which protects the netting when the net is
dragged along the bottom. We use 1 ounce weights which are an integral
part of the lead line, and 1 1/2 pound total net weight per foot is
standard.
Our braille (draw) lines are heavy 100# test mono with a heavy duty
swivel to resist twisting.
You can see the way the panels and lead line are sewn by clicking on the
Bait Tanks tab.
These nets are currently used by many guides and dedicated fishermen
from all over Florida, the Carolinas, New York, New Jersey,
Massachusetts, Louisiana, Georgia,
Alabama, Kentucky and Texas.
Our nets will last longer and be more resistant to tearing
These nets throw easily and sink fast to catch bait in shallow water and
deep water.

Cast net facts.
Comparing coverage of cast nets
in square feet.
6ft = 113.04 sq ft
7ft = 153.86 sq ft
8ft = 200.96 sq ft
9ft = 254.34 sq ft
10ft = 314.00 sq ft
12ft = 452.16 sq ft
An 8 foot net covers about 75% more square feet
than a 6 foot net. If you can throw a 6 ft you can throw an 8 ft and
catch much more bait with each throw which equals more fishing time!!
More weight alone will not make a net perform better. More weight
actually causes the net to close faster as well as sink faster which can
cause problems of its own. Design and
construction of the net are equally important and we have proven that in
testing our nets against others.
